When your system runs too hot, it may slow down drastically, the fan may spin loudly for extended periods, and in some cases, the system may even shut itself off to prevent hardware damage. What Are the Symptoms of Overheating?
Common signs include the laptop becoming hot to the touch, especially near the keyboard or under the chassis.
